At Mira Costa, Featherstone competed in track and field, baseball, volleyball and football. Featherstones football career began at Mira Costa High School and continued at El Camino College and then San Diego State. John FEATHERSTONE Feathers It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the death of our beloved Husband and Father, John Featherstone on 10th February 2022 aged 91. H. Bryan Featherstone quietly passed away Sunday morning, April 19, 2020, after a long struggle with Parkinsons disease. Doris was a member of Paramus Rotary Club where she had previously served as the Director of Community Service, Doris served on committees for the Valentine's Day Brunch, Installation Committee, Angels Among Us, Pancake Breakfast, Golf Outing and Paramus Friendly Neighbors and Food Pantry. In 1982, Featherstone joined the UC Berkeley program under head coach and former NFL great Joe Kapp. The following year, he began his coaching career as the Aztecs wide receiver coach.
